Ingredients:
1 cup Moong dal
1/4 cup rice or cracked wheat
2-3 green chillies
3 curry leaves
a pinch of Hing or Asafoetida
salt to taste
Other Ingredients:
Oil for cooking
Method:
1. Soak the moong dal with rice or cracked wheat in water for 1 hour.
2. Grind the soaked dal & rice with green chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida & salt.
3. Pour 1 ladle of batter on the hot tava and spread it to get a dosa about 5" in diameter.
4. Cook on both sides using a little oil over a slow flame until golden brown in color.
5. Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
